Versatile to pair, it can be enjoyed wih hard and semi-hard cheese and smoked cold cuts. It also goes very well with grilled red meat, long cooked meats in wood-fired ovens, stuffed pasta with red or creamy sauces. To the eyes, it shows an intense purple colour with visible concentration. Expressive to the nose, it reminds us of red fruit with subtle traces of clove, emphasising its fruity and balsamic character. This Malbec, in the mouth, stands out for its elegance and minerality. Its ageing in oak barrels with toasted bottoms has given space to an evident while elegant taste of clove and liquorice. Firm tannins and a balanced acidity ensure a high ageing potential.
